Red Rectangle is a film about a young woman who goes through a clinical trial where she takes pills that affect her memory.
All footage belongs to Columbia College of Chicago. NOTE: The film is still on a film festival circuit so I cannot share the entire thing.
I was the set decorator on this film and had a lot of fun helping building the two sets that are featured in the video above: the observation room and bar bathroom. I helped paint the sets and set dec them.
Above is concept art for the Observation Room, I made in Clip Studio Paint. This was to help us get an idea of what it was going to look like. We ended up ditching the blue tiles for a more dreary gray to match the tone of the room.
